One Foot Productions is looking for a Talent Coordinator starting immediately.
The core responsibilities of this positions will be to coordinate logistics and provide support to our talent bookers across all our shows and projects. We are looking for a candidate who has coordinating experience in entertainment and preferably working with celebrity talent. We often have 2-4 shows for clients in various stages of production or pre-production at once so this coordinator will be expected to jump between projects as needed.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
Work with talent bookers to track and follow up with current asks and booking status.
Manage and fulfill production needs as related to talent.
Track all talent related documents including but not limited to contracts, schedules and payment documents.
Work with legal and any other departments to facilitate talent needs.
Work with production teams to confirm talent logistics for rehearsals, performances and shoots.
Coordinate talent travel, including trip logistics and itinerary, schedule coordination and remote support.
Schedule and set up conference calls and web-based meeting.
Compile and submit travel & expense reports.
Researching music, television and other entertainment related subjects.
Keep talent budgets.
Update talent database ensuring all contact information for talent, agents, managers and lawyers is always current and correct.
Our ideal candidate qualifications:
3+ years of experience in talent relations and/or related relevant experience.
Experience managing needs of celebrity level talent and ability to stay calm while handling difficult situations.
Strong attention to detail, administrative, critical reasoning, and problem-solving abilities.
Basic negotiation skills and some knowledge of talent contractual terms.
Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task, and work under shifting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact and work with staff at all levels.
Willingness to take initiative and to follow through on projects.
Strong written and verbal communications skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Ability to travel and work outside of standard business hours.
This job has a weekly salary of $1200 per week. This is a full time position on a short-term (3-6 mo) contract with the possibility of extension. We are a small company and not able to offer benefits at this time.
We work out of midtown, Brooklyn & NJ, and work at varying locations may be required pending schedules. There may be the opportunity to work at home on certain days. Production schedules are not always Monday through Friday so work may be required on some weekends. All locations are accessible by public transit so a car is not required. Some travel may be required while we are onsite for events and if so, travel accommodations and expenses will be covered for travel outside the NY metro area.
One Foot Productions is a multifaceted company with experience in creative development, talent booking and logistics management on large scale, celebrity driven entertainment events. We have a custom logistics software platform that we continue to develop and plan for a wider release in 2019. We produce a boutique music festival in the mountains of California and are actively pitching and pursuing opportunities related to original music series, theater and experiential content.
